Facilities & Maintenance

The Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools Facilities & Maintenance Department maintains more than 400 acres of property and more than 1.7 million square feet of buildings owned by the CHCCS Board of Education. This includes both daily maintenance, as well as more extensive projects as covered in the district's Capital Improvement Plan.  

The Facilities and Maintenance Department is also involved in overseeing the progress of contractors on major building projects in the district.

Rental Information & Rates

To reserve one of our facilities, please fill out the CHCCS School Facility and/or Grounds Use Application below and email it to Cindy Dillehay at cdillehay@chccs.k12.nc.us.

If you believe that your use of one of our facilities fits in with our district's mission you may be eligible for discounted rates. To apply for these discounts, please fill out the District Sponsored Group Application for Facility Use below. Our mission statement is located on the form.
