Community-Based Opportunities for Service Learning

Use the list below to find Service Learning opportunities in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro community. Click the category heading to review organization/opportunity details.

Students are advised to seek input from the Service Learning Coordinator in advance of volunteering when the opportunity is not listed on this website. Seeking input is the best way to find out up-front if an activity can count for school credit. Service Learning credit can only be assigned to activities that meet the School Board policy and District guidelines for Service Learning.

Remember to take a Service Learning Documentation packet with you when you volunteer. Have fun!
