Resources for Teachers
Each of the categories below links to a page with sample labs that have been used successfully in the Discovery Lab. They are planned for whole classes of students but could be modified for use as centers. The labs are divided by science discipline, not grade level. Each lab meets the NCSCOS competency goals that are listed at the top of the lab. Please be aware that these labs were not originally written for publication. I write these labs for myself, and some terms or instructions may be unclear. Please email Erin Denniston for clarification or additional labs. Free use of these labs is allowed for individual teachers and schools. Please provide proper credits as to this source if you choose to make copies.
