Anemones can be yellow, pink, or even yellow. They have tentacles (arms). Some look like flowers when they open their arms.

Anemones live in the oceans all over the world. Many live in water close to the beach.

What does your animal eat?

The anemone eats small animals in the sea by stinging them.

The anemone protects the hermit crab. The anemone gets on the hermit crab's shell. The anemone protects the hermit crab with its stinging tentacles. The anemone gets some food that the hermit crab did not eat.
