What is it?
Coral is not a fish. It is a rocky mass made by lots of little sea animals called a polyps.
What does your animal look like?
The polyps form shapes. Some shapes are like trees, domes, or pipes. The shapes can be brown, orange, yellow, green, or purple.
Where does your animal live?
Coral is found in warm sea water.
What does your animal eat?
They like to eat little sea animals that swim in the ocean.
Fun Fact
When the polyp dies, they leave skeletons. The skeletons make coral reefs. Coral reefs look like a garden in the sea.
