We read the book by Eric Carle called A House for Hermit Crab. In the book, the hermit crab met lots of friends. Let's find out more about his friends. What do these sea creatures need to live? How are they alike and different and how do they help each other?
You will work in pairs to find out about Hermit Crab's sea animal friends. You will write about an animal and complete some fun activities.
1. Your teacher will give you a partner. Click on 5 animal pictures that you like. Together you will read about these 5 animals.
You will make a fact sheet for each animal. You must find out -

2. Work by yourself to:
Pick your favorite sea animal from your fact sheets.
Make a picture on KidPix of your favorite animal. Make your animal look just like it does in the sea.
Put your KidPix picture in the class slide show.
Use AppleWorks to create 3 trading cards of your favorite sea animal.
Share your trading cards.
Children will evaluate themselves. They will confirm on a check sheet what they accomplished. (I did my fact sheets. I did my Venn diagram. I did my KidPix picture and slide. I did my trading cards. I cooperated with my partner. I did my very best. I did a good job. I could have done better.)
