What is it?
A starfish is not a fish. It is a sea animal.It is sometimes called sea star.
What does your animal look like?
It has many arms that come out from a round center. The starfish can be a 1/2 inch wide or as wide as 36 inches!
The starfish can be yellow or orange.
Its mouth is on the bottom of the starfish.
Where does your animal live?
Starfish live in tide pools. A tide pools is water that is not deep.
What does your animal eat?
They are meat eaters and like to eat clams and oysters.
